Individual Electoral Registration

The way we all register to vote is changing

The way you register to vote is changing across the UK.  Most electors will transfer to the new electoral register automatically, but some residents may need to take action to join the new register, even if they were registered in the past.

We will be writing to local residents to tell them whether they have transferred to the new register or if they need to take further action.  You could be one who needs to re-register so it is important that you look out for a letter towards the end of July that will tell you if action is needed.

Be sun aware

The New Forest has the second highest rate of malignant melanoma (skin cancer) in England. Remember to use a high protection sunscreen of at least SPF30 with a high UVA rating, check all your skin every month, and tell your doctor about any changes to a mole or area of skin. Remember - if in doubt, always check it out!
