Community alarm recognised as quality service by industry body

Our community alarm service 'Appletree Careline' has received industry accreditation at a national awards event (15 October 2019) which celebrated the positive impact technology-enabled care services has on the lives of millions of people in the UK.

The accolade was presented to Sue Wilks, Business Development Officer for Appletree Careline at the awards, run by industry body TSA (TEC Services Association).

The team here at NFDC were audited over two days and were found to be enthusiastic and committed, with an ethos of being the best at what they do.

Sue said, "This accreditation for a quality service for installation and monitoring of community alarms demonstrates to our customers that we are committed to quality, continuous improvement, and that we have an unwavering guarantee to deliver peace of mind to our customers."

Cllr Diane Andrews, our Portfolio Holder for Community affairs said, "Quality standards are important in all industries, even more so when the services and products being provided are critical to the safety, health and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals.

"Achievement of this award demonstrates Appletree Careline services are underpinned by the principles of safety, effectiveness, ethics and quality."

Appletree Careline is already used by over 2,500 people in the New Forest and surrounding areas and gives peace of mind, knowing that help is at hand at the touch of a button.
