FOI04393At Spring Budget 2017, the Government announced 3 business rates relief schemes, one of which is 'discretionary relief' for which a total of £175m has been allocated in aggregate to billing authorities in England in respect of 2017/18.Please confirm how much of this 'discretionary relief' your authority has thus far granted to its non-domestic ratepayers in relation to the 2017/18 rate year.23/01/201803/01/2018Information provided
FOI04394In the Officer's Report on planning application 15/11523 she stated: "The proposed alterations to the car park would not adversely affect highway safety or the access/turning provisions within the site. Provision is made for the additional dwellings although comments have been raised that there is space for more parking to be provided so all flats can have a space. However, this is a separate matter." The officer's remarks that parking provision was a separate matter are absolute rubbish. There was an planning application, it included a scheme for additional parking, and my comment on the application referred to the scheme and suggested how it may be improved for the benefit of residents. But these comments were not included in the officer's report because she said it 'is a separate matter'. I feel that my comments regarding parking provision were either ignored or disregarded. This smacks of tenants being ignored or disregarded just as tenants' warnings about fire safety at Grenfell Tower were disregarded by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. I should like to know 1.what consideration was made in respect of my comments regarding inadequate parking provision in the proposed scheme, and 2. subsequent to the application being approved under delegation what further consideration was given at that time, and subsequently, to perfectly valid observations and the practical solution I had proposed in application comments since the officer's report stated that it 'is a separate matter'. I'd like to receive copies of all relevant papers relating to the proposed development, and the council's comprehensive explanation of how my comments on the planning application were addressed in consideration of the proposed scheme.23/01/201803/01/2018Section 21
