THE NEW FOREST DISTRICT (SWAY ROAD AND BROOKLEY ROAD, BROCKENHURST) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2016
On 2 November 2016 New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the Highway Authority, Hampshire
County Council made a Road Traffic Regulation Order as follows:-
EFFECT OF ORDER: To introduce waiting restrictions as follows (reduced in effect from advertised proposals):-
No waiting at any time in parts of Sway Road and Brookley Road
DATE OF OPERATION : The Order will come into operation on 1 January 2017
FURTHER DETAILS : A copy of this Notice, the Order as made, plans showing the locations and effects of the order, and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected during the usual office hours at New Forest District Council's Main Reception at Appletree Court, Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst, and Brockenhurst Parish Council's offices at Highwood Road, Brockenhurst. They may also be viewed on the Council's website www.newforest.gov.uk under "Transport & Streets", then "Traffic Management" then "Proposed Permanent or Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders advertised", from 4 November 2016.
APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person who desires to question the validity of the
Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of
Sections 1, 2, and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any
requirement of those Sections or of Parts I, II, or III of Schedule 9 to the Act or any regulations
made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the Order may,
by 14 December 2016, make application for the purpose to the High Court
