                                    (PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2016

On 17th March 2016 New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the Highway Authority, Hampshire County Council made a Traffic Regulation Order as follows:-

EFFECT OF ORDER: To introduce parking places in Hythe as indicated below:-

Parking for disabled badge holders in parts of The Promenade.

CHANGES TO ADVERTISED ORDER: This Order is made in part and some of the advertised changes to parking places are not included or are amended in the made Order as follows, and as shown on plan no. R1192 / 2:-

Existing 'limited waiting 2 hours 8am to 6pm' to be retained in parking bay north of Admirals Way;

'Disabled badge holders only' in parking bay south of Admirals Way to apply on Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm.

DATE OF OPERATION:  The Order will come into operation on 29th March 2016.

FURTHER DETAILS:  A copy of this Notice, the Order as made, a plan showing the amended proposals, and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected during the usual office hours at the following places, and on the Council's website under 'Planning' then 'Transport and Streets' then 'Traffic Management'  then 'Proposed Permanent or Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders Advertised':-

            i)         New Forest District Council, Hythe Information Office, The Grove, St John's Street, Hythe 

            ii)        New Forest District Council, Appletree Court, Lyndhurst                        

            APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT:  Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 32 and 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Sections or of Parts I, II, or III of Schedule 9 to the Act or any regulations made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by 28th April 2016 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
