Taking part in the democratic process

The Council takes an inclusive approach in making sure that all sectors of society have equal access to its services.  Access to the democratic process is part of the overall picture.  People with disabilities are encouraged to access the various meetings of our Councillors and the associated documents; to stand for election as a councillor and to vote in elections.
