 THE NEW FOREST DISTRICT   (VARIOUS ROADS, RINGWOOD, FORDINGBRIDGE AND BRANSGORE)  (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2015

On 4th March 2015 New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the Highway Authority, Hampshire County Council made a Traffic Regulation Order as follows:-

EFFECT OF ORDER: To introduce or amend waiting restrictions as indicated below:-

Ringwood:-

'No waiting at any time' in parts of Castleman Way and Pullman Way;

'No waiting at any time' removed from part of Seymour Road;

'No waiting or loading at any time' in parts of Meeting House Lane, The Furlong, and The Close.

Fordingbridge:-

'No waiting at any time' in parts of Bedford Close, Burnham Road, Burgate Fields, Dudley Avenue, Merton Close, Penny's Lane, Provost Street, Round Hill, Waverley Close, West Mills Road and West Street;

'No waiting Mon - Sat 8am to 6pm' in parts of West Street;

'No waiting or loading on school entrance markings' in part of Burgate Fields.

Bransgore:-

'No waiting at any time' in part of Poplar Lane.

CHANGES TO ADVERTISED ORDER: This Order is made in part and some lengths of advertised restrictions are not included or are reduced in the made Order as follows:-

'Limited waiting 2 hours except resident permit holders, Mon - Sat 9am to 6pm' in parts of Southampton Road, Ringwood not included;

'No waiting or loading at any time' in parts of The Close, Ringwood reduced in extent;

'No waiting at any time' in part of Burgate Fields, Fordingbridge reduced to 'No waiting Mon-Fri 8-9am and 2.30-4pm.

DATE OF OPERATION:  The Order will come into operation on 25th March 2015.

FURTHER DETAILS:  A copy of this Notice, the Order as made, plans showing the location and effect of the proposal, and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected during the usual office hours at the following places, and on the Council's website www.newforest.gov.uk under 'Planning' then 'Transport and Streets' then 'Traffic Management',h then 'Proposed Permanent or Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders advertised':-

i)         New Forest District Council, Ringwood Gateway, The Furlong, Ringwood

ii)        New Forest District Council Information Office, Salisbury Street, Fordingbridge

iii)       New Forest District Council, Appletree Court, Lyndhurst

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT:  Any person who desires to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Sections or of Parts I, II, or III of Schedule 9 to the Act or any regulations made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the order may, by 15th April 2015 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
