HUMPED ZEBRA CROSSING IN B3058 HIGH STREET, MILFORD ON SEA

New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the Highway Authority, Hampshire County Council proposes introducing a traffic calming scheme as follows:-

EFFECT OF SCHEME: The provision of a raised table road hump at the zebra crossing in B3058 High Street:-

Raised table 75mm high across the full width of the carriageway with a flat top

6 metres in length

Location - the hump will be located between a point approximately 1 metre east of the western boundary of Nos 15/17 High Street and a point approximately 9 metres east

FURTHER DETAILS: A copy of this Notice and a plan showing the location of the humped zebra crossing may be inspected during the usual office hours at the following places, and on the Council's website www.newforest.gov.uk under 'Transport and Streets' then 'Traffic Management', then 'Proposed Permanent or Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders being advertised, from 17 January 2014:-

i) New Forest District Council, Appletree Court, Lyndhurst

ii) Milford on Sea Parish Council offices, The Old Clock House,

22 High Street, Milford on Sea

OBJECTIONS: All representations (whether in support or objection) in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the undersigned by 14 February 2014. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Representations received will be open for public inspection.
