(VARIOUS ROADS, TOTTON)

(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2014

On 23rd January 2014 New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the Highway Authority, Hampshire County Council made a Traffic Regulation Order as follows:-

EFFECT OF ORDER: To introduce waiting restrictions at Totton as indicated below:-

'No waiting at any time' in parts of Barnsfield Crescent, Boniface Close, Brokenford Avenue, Brokenford Lane, Calmore Gardens, Calmore Road, Fritham Close, Hammonds Lane, Ringwood Road, Salisbury Road, Sedgefield Close, Sunset Avenue, Water Lane service road and Water Lane;

'No waiting Mon - Fri 9am to 4pm' in parts of Barnsfield Crescent, Calmore Road and Sedgefield Close;

'No waiting at any time on footway' in part of Testwood Crescent.

CHANGES TO ADVERTISED ORDER: This Order is made in part and some lengths of advertised restrictions are reduced in the made Order as follows:-

'No waiting Mon - Fri 9am to 4pm' in part of Barnsfield Crescent reduced in extent;

'No waiting at any time' in part of Brokenford Lane reduced in extent.

DATE OF OPERATION: The Order will come into operation on 6th March 2014.

FURTHER DETAILS: A copy of this Notice, the Order as made, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals, and a Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected during the usual office hours at the following places, and on the Council's website www.newforest.gov.uk under 'Transport and Streets' then 'Traffic Management' then 'Proposed Permanent or Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders being advertised':-

i) New Forest District Council Information Office, Civic Centre, Totton

ii) New Forest District Council, Appletree Court, Lyndhurst

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person who desires to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Sections or of Parts I, II, or III of Schedule 9 to the Act or any regulations made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the order may, by 6th March 2014 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
